Measurement semantics
A number needs a status.
Kelra distinguishes direct measurement from estimates and from values it cannot support. Agents should preserve units, status, and abstentions in their explanations.
Measured
measured means the value was computed directly from supplied pixels, coordinates, or a supplied runtime frame. Geometry uses pixels; area uses square pixels; normalized coordinates and ratios are unitless.
Estimated
estimated means the value depends on an inference from image evidence, such as registration. Report it as an estimate with its confidence and supported model.
Unavailable or ambiguous
unavailable means no supported value was returned. An ambiguity or no-translation classification does not imply a numerical zero. Keep the missing value missing.
Inferred association
When changed pixels overlap a supplied runtime element, the association is inferred from visible geometry. It is not proof of ownership or causality. Source locations require explicit instrumentation; candidate controls are inspection leads.
Kelra abstains when its evidence is insufficient. Do not convert unavailable results into guessed precision.
