Install

A local MCP server.

Kelra runs as a local stdio MCP process. The current source build requires macOS 14 or later and the selected Xcode Swift toolchain. Public binary distribution and package-manager installation are not available yet.

Current supported path

Use macOS 14 or later with the selected Xcode Swift toolchain. The current build links SwiftSyntax host libraries from Xcode.
Clone the engine source and run swift build -c release.
Register the resulting .build/release/kelra-mcp executable in an MCP-compatible agent.
Restart the agent session and confirm the five tools are listed.

Distribution status

There is no hosted MCP backend, account system, billing flow, or supported universal installer. Keep the executable path local to the machine running the agent. Developer Preview access is currently coordinated by email.

Do not copy a configuration command with a placeholder executable path and assume Kelra is installed. The MCP client must be pointed at the built binary.
