Codex connection

Give Codex access to Kelra.

Codex is the only agent with a frozen client compatibility evaluation. These steps use the local stdio server built from Kelra source.

Build the executable

cd /path/to/kelra-engine
swift build -c release

Register Kelra

codex mcp add kelra -- "$PWD/.build/release/kelra-mcp"
codex mcp list

If the Codex process cannot resolve the relative path from the project directory, supply an absolute path to kelra-mcp.

Use it in a session

Start a new Codex session and ask a task that needs pixel evidence, such as comparing two provided screenshots or measuring a supplied rectangle. Codex can select the MCP tool; Kelra returns the calculation and its evidence state.

Compatibility results describe a frozen Codex CLI suite, not every model version, prompt, or environment. Other clients have not been validated.
